  background info: although i'm an apostate, i don't hate jehovah's witnesses, or the organization itself.

  actually i find that many derogatory comments here are extremely biased.

  i think most of them are amazing people, and i wish more non-witnesses were like them.

  My "wake-up call" was the JW dogma that Romans 6:7 refers to a person's physical death:

  Watchtower May 15th 1982, pp. 8,9 - "The Bible explains that at death a person is set free or released from any sins he committed."

  Bible Teach p. 214 par. 3 - "..the judgment will not focus on what people did before they died......Those resurrected thus come to life with a clean slate, so to speak."

  The surrounding verses - 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, & 11 overwhelmingly prove that Paul was describing how a sinner is figuratively dying - to their former way of life.

  Unwittingly, JW's are repudiating Matthew 26:28: "...for this means my ‘blood of the covenant,’ which is to be poured out in behalf of many for forgiveness of sins."

  They believe that ceasing to breathe wipes out a person's sins - no need for Christ.

  Spare a thought for the nuisance callers

  up till now i have generally received (on average) one or two nuisance calls a day –sometimes more, sometimes none.

  although retired, i was out of the house about 20% of the time, but now that i’m home 100% of the time, i haven’t received a single nuisance call since the lockdown.

  is this just me, or is covid19 having a sever impact of their incomes?

  I used to get calls every day from low-life scumbags in India, pretending to be my telephone & internet provider or Microsoft. I won't say how, but I came up with a unique way to stop them calling me. Peace.

  I conned the con-artists. That's my thought!

  some people i know have not gone out of their houses in weeks.

  some will walk near their homes and run right back in.

  meanwhile, i go food shopping and i see tons of people, many with masks and gloves on..

  Should we doubt any of their actions & thinking regarding Covid 19?

  @ Simon - "they are guessing and it's reckless to proclaim the results while the pandemic is still developing and spreading"

  Totally agree. There is absolutely no unanimity regarding crucial Covid 19 data amongst those termed as "experts." Hindsight will praise a few and slap many others.

  @ stan - a very astute 92 year old gentleman relative has stated a similar point - the E.U. countries are imposing their own laws and guarding their own borders - from each other! He reckons it's not good.

  Apparently, 67% of Italians who were asked, said that they didn't believe the E.U. was good for Italy.
